The theft of a valuable painting from New York and the kidnapping of the daughter of the painting's owner, Harris Savvas, puts Rita Kalogirou, a private detective, in trouble. A wealthy family of art collectors in Greece is the focus of suspicion. Rita enters their home pretending to be Savvas' daughter, who is friends with them. On her first night there, she discovers two terrible secrets. One is that she is in love with the youngest member of the family, Petros, who is a rally driver. The second secret gets her into even more trouble...

Members of an otherwise typical New York Brooklyn family are "tortured" by a kind of hereditary madness. In the meantime, the adopted nephew Mortimer tries to do everything to protect his two aunts, who indulge in a variety of dangerous acts, such as poisoning lonely and homeless elderly people, and burying them in the basement of their house. When another niece, Jonathan, arrives, the situation will spiral out of control. The play was released on DVD by Radiotileorasi magazine in December 2010 (78th DVD of the "ERT Cultural Film Archive" series).

A conscientious tanker driver, Thanasis Papathanasis, works hard to help his sister Afroditi study medicine. Dinos, the sole survivor of a group of saboteurs who were exterminated by the Germans for treason, finds refuge in the house of a crippled girl. She hides him in the basement and, falling in love with him, keeps him prisoner without telling him that the war is over, not wanting to lose him. When Dinos manages to escape from the basement, he faces the bitter reality. His girlfriend doesn't care for him, his friends died in the Occupation, and the one who betrayed the group was a fellow soldier. He decides to return to the basement and the girl who really loved him.
