As the sailors competing in the Vendée Globe prepare to set sail, the murder of a local figure disrupts preparations. The victim was the sponsor of Yannick Berthomé, a local boy and the race favorite. Lieutenants Judith Kamara and Olivier Finet are dispatched from the Angers SRPJ to investigate.
