The film is about the lack of human touch. The dystopia is set in a world where an unknown virus makes people unable to touch each other. Mother, father, son: we confront the problem through a Hungarian family, and search for a solution with them in this extraordinary road movie. It is no coincidence that the story takes place in winter. And it is no coincidence that it takes place by Europe's largest lake. Where the landscape is icy and cold and blue and white. And only in flashbacks do we find ourselves in the warm summer. When all seemed well.

The film, a spin-off of the Mocro Maffia series, is about the character Tatta, played by Robert de Hoog.

The three stories within Genesis explore the notion of family: a woman in her late thirties rediscovers the faith she lost as a child; a mother goes to extreme lengths to ensure that her daughter is saved from the fate she was forced to endure; a Roma boy’s family are killed and the perfect world of his childhood is destroyed.

Two physically handicapped youngsters make friends with a paralysed hitman and are commissioned by a local mafia boss. They have little to lose although things are never as they first appear. The boundaries between fantasy and reality blur as the unlikely heroes stumble from one close encounter to the next and we gain an unusual insight into their lives on the periphery of society.
