When Jenny and Robert come home at night, they discover that their apartment has been broken into. The police uses a spray to let missing objects reappear as holograms. After they've forgotten the spray, Jenny uses it to reveal a secret.

Due to the sudden outbreak of a hurricane, a traveling circus, famous for its stunning numbers with horses, calls into the small German estate of Kaltenbach. Soon, Ari realizes that one of the horses of this circus, named Orcan, is in mortal danger. Together with the boy Carlo and their faithful friend, the horse Ostwind, they try to save Orkan from the cruel owner of a traveling circus. However, the shrewd director unravels their audacious plan. And Ostwind's horse is also in trouble. Ari and Carlo have very little time to rectify the situation and save Ostwind.

Harry is a passionate meat eater with debts in the red light district. When he inherits the vegan restaurant "Los Veganeros" from his grandmother, he forges a plan to convert the store into a brothel. When Harry learns that his grandmother has stipulated in her will that the store may not be used for any other purpose, things take a completely different turn. Suddenly he is the new owner of a restaurant where he discovers a whole new world.

The 94 years old Alma is a passionate environmentalist. She doesn’t like the deforestation of the rain forests at all, that the Germans eat ever more meat, and that animals are fattened in concentrated animal feeding operations across the country. The pensioner looks for equal minded people via adverts in the local papers and gets to know the young kindergarten worker Vicky. Both participate in a group meeting in the restaurant “Los Veganeros”, where they and other environmental activists plan their projects. During one of these meetings Vicky propose to abduct the pig fattening industrialist Heinz Granitzka to force the public to take notice of the horrible conditions the animals are being forced to live in. The group all but jumps at that idea and start to carry it out, with fatal results.

But the very next morning, the Brückers realize that they have underestimated their new neighbors. The immigrants from the Far East turn out to be real high-flyers. The Wangs' offspring outperform the Brückers' offspring at school, father Wang snatches the coveted managing director position from under Michael Brücker's nose and mother Li is a university professor, while Lisa "only" has a small, poorly run flower store. Logically, the Brückers find so much perfectionism unbearable in the long run and prepare to strike back...
