Fatal Recall is a Taiwanese Thriller starring Alex Man

Jointly and respectively directed by King Hu, Lee Hsing, and Pai Ching-Jui, three major Taiwan directors of the 1970s, this film consist of three shorts with the same cast of two actors and one actress, who through reincarnation meet in three different times.

Li, a martial artist, returns home to find out that his father is being harassed by a crime syndicate. Together with an American kung fu champion he vows revenge when the syndicate kills his father.

After retreating from battle, a band of Mongolian soldiers take refuge in a cemetery where they are slaughtered by reanimated zombies from the netherworld. But the leader is possessed by the Devil and he levels an assault against a nearby Chinese village. Local monks cover themselves with writings from the sacred scriptures in an attempt to stop the marauding warlord and his ddemon army.

Four grotesque masters of Kung Fu are destined to fight each other. Two only wish good for their people. The other two want to become the only two living masters. Thus, they hire and train an assassin to murder the others.

After seeing his father murdered and his mother abducted by a caveman-like martial arts cult, a small boy is taken in by a wizened old kung fu master, who rigorously trains him until he is endowed with almost supernatural fighting skills. This training, however, takes much less time than it would in most martial arts films, in which the kid would attain mastery at about the same time he reaches adulthood. Instead what we get is a sword-wielding 5 year old waging a bloody war of revenge against an assortment of adult-sized demons and people in heartbreakingly threadbare monster costumes.

Kung Fu combined with acupuncture is used with great effect to defeat Japanese invaders in an Eastern Town in China.
