Hassanat Piniwat

A young woman disappointed in her love life and family decides to end her life. Her soul is then taken to be punished at the Morana Café (death cafe) where the human and spirit worlds connect. For the same purpose, which is the cessation of suffering, the way there is guided by a Helper to aid these souls realise the wrongs they have committed​ before they move on in the cycle of rebirth and death.

Keng, a young boy who left his hometown to study in Bangkok and lives with Tai, a friend who is the same age as him. Keng's dream is to pursue further study in China in order to look for his mom whom he was separated.

In this short film, Bas has just been rejected by the love of his life, Maple. All because he looked "gay". His friend, A, tries to comfort him, saying he doesn't need to change himself. But yet Bas tries to look less "gay".

It tells the story of a group of young men who are wounded by the events of the terrible events of their 18 years of life, including being branded as prisoners, addicted to drugs, and even facing trauma after a loved one is assaulted. Even if they wanted to transform themselves into the people that society expected them to become, in the end there is a turning point that brings them back to fighting the dark side of life again. 18 Rain is a remake of an original film released in 1997 by director Poj Arnon.
