Three different friends faces their own obstacles in life.

Several models of Egyptian citizens are introduced during the British occupation, from Shukry the army officer who refuses to shoot at student demonstrations, Saad who engages in political activity against the British occupation, to Abdel Azis who loves Raja, the dancer.

(Fouad) loves his neighbor (Samia) and wishes to marry her, but she looks at him only as a brother, and thinks about a way in which he tells her the truth of his feelings, at a time when she loves the theater director (Ahmed Fahmy), and tells her father about their decision to marry after showing his play, and after the show ends. (Ahmed) tells her the truth about his serious illness and that he is forced to travel abroad for treatment and cannot get married, while her brother (Hisham) dies in a painful accident, and she feels that she has lost everything.

Karima lives a happy and stable life with her husband, Qadri, but during the lunar days her personality changes and she turns into a Bedouin personality because of a man's attempt to rape her on a moonlit night when she was young and she was wearing Bedouin acting clothes, so she goes to where the Bedouins live in the Haram Desert. She falls in love with Wael, who loves her back and marries her. Qadri becomes suspicious of his wife's behavior.

Hasan Youssef plays Mohsen, a doctor who is in love with a nurse named Mona (Warda Al-Jazaria). They hope to marry soon, however Mohsen's father refuses to allow the marriage: he has promised his son to the daughter of a wealthy benefactor, to settle a long standing debt. In order to convince the father to allow their marriage, Mohsen asks Mona to work as his father's private nurse and work to win him over.
