Puppeton, the town of 31 Minutes, faces such an infernally hot Christmas that Santa Claus cancels his visit! Bodoque the rabbit heroically volunteers to rescue the presents from the North Pole, while his friends improvise a disastrous Christmas show. "Golpe a golpe" (Family coup) was a Chilean television sitcom from the 1970s and 1980s. In this series, the family of the stern anti-communist dictator Augusto Pinochet found themselves forced to share their home with the spirit of the late former socialist president Salvador Allende, who was portrayed by a puppet. This short film aims to salvage this show's existence by extracting fragments from its surviving material.

Guaripolo, the children's favorite character of 31 minutos, directs "Radio Guaripolo", from where he broadcasts the program "Guaripolo's Midnight Telephone Pranks", in which in the wee hours of the morning he makes prank calls to a few, for the delight of few others. The show features new instrumentations of the show's well-known songs, emulating the bluesy feel of 1960s Chicago.

More than 50 children and teenagers from the Orquesta Sinfónica Estudiantil Metropolitana and the cast of the famous puppet group 31 Minutos come together for the first time to celebrate Christmas.

While anchorman Tulio Triviño tries to run a successful Christmas-themed broadcast, Juan Carlos Bodoque is sent to the North Pole with the goal of taking home the gifts for everyone.

Tulio accepts the mayor's invitation to host his own festival within the Viña Festival, but the rest of the team is very scared by the presence of the famous "Monster" of the festival.
