After her parents are laid off from their job, Veronika ventures to the city to look for work. She gets a job in an insurance company. To get customers, she uses ways that she does not like. Veronika’s career rises quickly and she becomes the hot topic amongst the managers. One night, when she is on a date with a director of a large company, a man observes her from a distance. When they exchange looks, the man runs away. When she returns home, Veronika finds out that the man who observed her is her husband. They argue, but they make peace in the end.

Ratmono is attracted to a Gandrung Banyuwangi (a traditional dance from Banyuwangi area) dancer and he intends to divorce his wife. His intention to marry the dancer costs him his wealth and drives him into poverty. He ends up hanging himself. This incites the hatred of the villagers against the voodoo shaman and they decide to chase away all shamans. But a Muslim minister (Ustad), Sutar, prevents them from doing so. Soon, the village is gripped by a series of killings of those considered to be voodoo shamans. They start suspecting the religious figures (Kiai) but the murders are committed by several men in black, with their faces covered like ninjas. The minister is also threatened by anonymous phone calls and is even attacked. Then the authorities release a statement that there are no ninjas. The murders remain a mystery. Symbolically, it ends with a little boy carrying the national flag with his friends.

In order to pass as human and blend in with society, a ghost couple need to drink virgin blood every full moon.

As usual, this comedy featuring Dono, Kasino and Indro is more driven by a series of comedic skits than a unified storyline. This story, built around the three comedians, also features two beautiful young women, Linda (Sally Marcelina) and Christin (Nurul Arifin), who have been talked into moving from their dormitory to stay with the trio at their house. Linda is Kasino’s girlfriend, while Christin is dating Indro. Initially this comedy depicts the three friends appearing on a television program. Then the producer, who promises them more screen time, talks them into judging a beach beauty contest, so the film setting jumps to the beach. While there, the potential beauty queens attempt to seduce the three men. Linda and Christin, who are very angry at this, plan revenge against the three friends. The film then moves to an island where a film shoot is going on.

Tragedy strikes when a group of thugs slaughter two children and their mother and father. Then, out of nowhere, a ghost of a sinister, thuggish looking man appears and walks toward the woman's body. Later, a couple moves into the house and encounters the ghosts of the two children. Even worse, the murdered woman, possessed by the evil male spirit, has returned as a ghost/zombie who can invade people's dreams and kill them. She has a glove just like Freddy Krueger and she makes use of it quite frequently. She seeks out those who killed her and her family, taking vengeance on them. But, eventually, she must be stopped, and that falls to a good priestess who must also face the male spirit within the woman. (zmdb.org)

Detective Kasino and two of his men, Dono and Indro (played by the Warkop Trio), fail to retrieve a jewel. But the owner, a Japanese man, does not care about it. They are given another task to protect Michiko, who is threatened with kidnap by criminals. In fact, the owner of the jewel wants to trick the insurance company. Michiko asks Dono, who protects her to run away with the jewel he is asked to keep.

Richard Brown, a decorated Vietnam War veteran now living in Indonesia, discovers that gunmen invaded his home, murdered his son, Bobby, (preparing to celebrate his 8th birthday), and gang-raped and murdered his wife, Florinda. Vowing revenge, he begins to track down the culprits, learning in the process that they're in the employ of a business rival named Hawk. At one point he's captured, beaten, and tortured but then he's rescued by Julia, Hawk's personal secretary, who also seeks revenge on her employer for causing the death of her sister. Brown eventually finds and confronts Hawk at Hawk's fortress-like compound.
