After World War II, a group of young “robbers” redistributes the wealth of the rich to the poor while protecting the honor of women, especially the wives and sisters of soldiers at the front. Though branded outlaws by the law, their criminal yet benevolent deeds win the tacit approval of the local community.

The movie reflects the ecological environment of Sumgayit. After the collapse of the Soviet power, the old problems of the "new era" still persist. Although it is not mentioned in the movie, the new generation of people living in this city, which is named as Sumgayit, especially near poisonous plants, are born crippled and sick. There is a wide range of symbolic expressions in the film and there are interesting dream scenes.

The film reveals the contradictions between the "educating" teachers and the "educated" students in the school, which is actually an orphanage and a boarding school, where lawlessness, violence, hypocrisy, and cruelty prevail. Forced to live in such contradictory conditions, but unable to adapt to these conditions, little Ahsan, who misses his native home, finds the only way out - he perishes by throwing himself out of the window. The film was shot on the basis of the motifs of Isi Malikzade's story "Nowruz Holiday of Wanderers".

The film is dedicated to the memory of the great Azerbaijani poet Muhammad Fuzuli by the relic-gazalakh, and the lyric poet Aliaga Vahid. The poet's life is presented in chronological order. The authors do not clearly indicate the names of the people who covered Vahid. They tried to create a generalized artistic image using some of the master poet's masterpieces from his difficult life.

The film is about frontier-guards who averts the diversion in hydroelectric power station which was built by another state.
