
Polad Bülbüloğlu is a Soviet and Azerbaijani singer, actor, politician, and diplomat. Bülbüloğlu was born (Polad Murtuza oğlu Məmmədov) on February 4, 1945 in Baku, Azerbaijan SSR. Along with the dangerous adventures, the film also reflects the love of two young heroes. As in Romeo and Juliet, they are the children of two opposing sides.

Oleg, the host of a TV show is asked to cover in his show a new ultramodern amusement park called "Park of the Soviet Period". The life in the park is an exaggerated version of the soviet life - pioneers parading, girls selling soda water on the street, socialist banners are everywhere, communist party decisions, free medical procedures, etc. When Oleg falls in love with a nurse he discovers that the rules of the Park forbid any personal contact with the staff, that was trained to live a very different life compared to the life in the world outside. As he fights to gain the heart of the nurse he finds deep flaws in the Utopian atmosphere of the park and decides he must do something about it.

In early 20th-century Azerbaijan, two circus artists travel to a village where one of them was born, unaware of the danger and adventure that await them.

The works of Azerbaijani composers are performed by M. Magomaev, R. Beyrutov, Z. Khanlarova, O. Agaev, F. Kerimova, P. Bül-Bül-oglu, the vocal quartet "Gaya," and the instrumental quartet conducted by R. Babaev. The concert also features the State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Azerbaijan SSR and ballet artists R. Akhundov and V. Pletnev with a number from K. Karaev's ballet "Seven Beauties."
