Two friends set out on a journey from Ostrava to Prague to claim a winning lottery ticket — but they're not the only ones looking to cash in.

A tragicomic story about Michal, an introverted cashier who falls in love with a girl from a nearby flower shop, but his shy nature prevents him from making the first move. The tragicomic nature of Michal's story, in which fate and society constantly throw obstacles in his path, is further enhanced by his eccentric father and Michal's boss. Free Fall shows that being empathetic, kind, and accommodating does not necessarily mean being successful and popular.

A group therapy session unites three scorned wives as they help one another destroy the lives and careers of their selfish, unfaithful husbands.

The comedy unfolds in the attractive environs of the never-ending filming of a TV series. The performance opens up with wonderful interplay of relationships, characters, situations, conflicts, big hopes and ambitious plans interwoven with a love motif. At the end of this bizarre story we are surprised by the harmony created from the discord of authentic human emotions.

Stationmaster Miloš, a lonely trumpet player nearing fifty, watches life pass him by as he mourns alone at a funeral and pines secretly for Tereza, the charming nurse who boards his afternoon train. Desperate for courage, his bandmates enter him into a televised Christmas talent show, “Vánoční hvězda”, and, in the glow of the stage lights, Miloš finally finds love.

Every year, prominent actors from the animal kingdom gather on the magic carpet to present film awards. The lion king keeps order, and Bobo the platypus provides entertainment. His performances are interspersed with films called La Fontaine's fables. The organization runs smoothly, even though each performer's act has its own charm of awkwardness.

In an effort to secure his new family, an insurance agent undertakes an effective raid on clients, unaware that elsewhere, a scam is being hatched against him, and apparently not just one. The speed with which problems begin to pile up relentlessly rises vertiginously, and the fall becomes uncontrollable.

A story inspired by real events from the 1950s to the 1970s. Honza Steiner was neither a tough guy nor a thug. He was just a boy who had the misfortune of finding himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. He ended up on the wrong path due to a series of unfortunate coincidences. Honza was raised in children's homes, juvenile detention centers, and eventually prison. He waged a long, undeclared war with a public security officer, one that was not exactly abounding in rules. The conflict culminated in a staged hunt for Honza, who unfortunately shot his arch-enemy and was sentenced to death for it.
