In the face of Rakil, a lazy person, living at the expense of his sister, but constantly learning lessons in diligence and honor - a contradictory image is created that we also encounter in reality. Rakil, within the framework of tradition, turns his sister into a tool for earning money, that is, he wants to force her to marry Inghil. In families with patriarchal traditions, the tradition of turning a woman into a commodity in this status still exists.

The main characters – Mike Kovalski, a young American of Azerbaijani descent and a young business woman Aydan Bagirzade face a number of similar situations. They meet by accident and their meeting is full of surprises.

"Buta" is the story of a lonely 7-year old boy (named Buta), who lives in a mountain village with his grandmother. He is befriended by an old man, a liquid soap merchant who once loved (and lost) Buta's grandmother. The old man's friendship and wise advice helps Buta to overcome his difficulties in life. Buta's grandmother, in the meantime, is weaving a special carpet in memory of Buta's mother. The carpet features a special pattern (also called "Buta"), which represents love. The boy is inspired by his grandmother's work, and decides to make his own "buta" made of rocks and stones, high on the top of the mountain...

The film is based on the events of Rasim (Rasim Jafarov), a literature teacher who came to Baku from the village to become a movie director. There he meets Leyla, a beautiful woman who he falls in love with. She calls him Fellini in honor of Italian film director Federico Fellini.

After the collapse of the Soviet power in the 90s, a chemist scientist in one of Azerbaijan's scientific research institutes obtains a new solution. The scientist examines the positive and negative consequences of the chemical solution. With its help, a certain part of a person's memory can be erased and used in negative activities. At the same time, it can protect people from drug addiction and alcoholism. But the results are not as expected.

Not looking that a film is told about personal human fortunes here in the foreground there are the most noble raised human lines.

A man goes to prison for years for a crime his cousin committed. After his release he moves to his native village and lives a simple life. But when his cousin comes to visit, his old thoughts of revenge return.

In capital city Baku, eminent editor Yusef Abranov and director Mehmet are determined to get their latest movie made by any means necessary, after being shut down by the bankrupt national studio. Following various schemes, the only way left to raise the cash is to marry off Yusef’s son to the daughter of the rich guy who’s bought Yusef’s bizarre, mirror-filled house.
