Gunman Flame and his partner Citron assassinate Nazi collaborators for the Danish resistance. Assigned targets by their Allies-connected leader, Aksel Winther, they relish the opportunity to begin targeting the Nazis themselves. When they begin to doubt the validity of their assignments, their morally complicated task becomes even more labyrinthine.

Late one evening Alex suddenly abandons his girlfriend, Simone, to pursue the beautiful Aimee. In his encounter with Aimee time and place dissolve for him and he becomes a stranger to Simone, to whom he cannot return.

Anders is 10 years old and has one great passion: diving. He is going on holiday to Greece with his dad, whose behaviour is erratic due to his heavy drinking. Danish teens come of age in 1963. Bjorn and Erik are close friends. Bjorn is pursued by Kirsten, a future Stepford wife, but he falls for Anna, who initiates him into love and sex. Erik is somber, caring for his home-bound mentally-ill mother while his strict father rules his life. He desires Kirsten, but she's unattainable. Pregnancy, a horrific abortion, an engagement party, and a revelation about the rectitude of Erik's father lead to a climax: Bjorn and Erik must stand up to controlling adults.

A socially realistic film about a fifteen-year-old girl and her problems with love. Judith comes from a working-class home and does not want to continue her education. After having a relationship with a man twenty years her senior, she meets seventeen-year-old rock musician Willy, with whom she becomes pregnant. Willy does not really interest her, and she has an illegal abortion.

Allan Thorsen is tired of his wife, but he finds it difficult to tell her that he wants a divorce. So he arranges a skiing holiday where she will fall in love with another man, so that he can get rid of her without having to do anything himself. She does find a man who is interested, but then Allan becomes jealous and soon tries to win his wife back. However, the situation is complicated by the fact that Allan's mistress suddenly shows up at the holiday hotel.

Susanne is going to the countryside to visit Ditmar. Ditmar has been abroad for over a year, and in the meantime, Susanne has given birth to Lulu without Ditmar's knowledge. Susanne's good friend and nanny, Andreas, accompanies her to the estate. Andreas and Lulu are assumed to be the butler and his daughter. Andreas agrees to the idea so that he can keep an eye on Susanne. However, Andreas falls in love with the daughter of the house, who believes he has a wife. At the same time, Susanne tries to tell Ditmar that Lulu is their child.
