The film is about Benny Chacko (Jayaram) who is a cable operator and has dreams of getting rich. His friend (Nedumudi Venu) gives him the idea of getting married so that with the dowry he can fulfill his dreams.

Narayanan, who gets convicted for killing his father, returns from prison to his village and works selflessly for its people. However, his vengeful relatives create obstacles for him.

A minister's secretary is killed in an explosion. Later, the minister gets killed in a hospital while under the medical supervision of a doctor who is the son of the deceased secretary.
