Once on the camping trip Mr. Hedges pursues the local barmaid and the class indulge in their usual activities. A small feud with some stereotypical upper class children in red blazers is resolved with a false rape allegation. A case of some stolen money is resolved through Mr. Hedges trusting the class. At the final dance Mr. Hedges is ensnared in the romantic clutches of Miss Cutforth, contrary to his wishes.

Prince Leo, last in the line of rulers of a long-deposed monarchy on continental Europe and jaded with the frenetic search for kicks with the European jet-set, returns to his father's London town house for rest.

Toby tries on a dummy ape skin which is intended for the local jumble sale, and is mistaken for a real ape which has escaped from a travelling circus. Peewee manages to befriend the real ape by giving him a bunch of bananas.

The Gang engage Marvo the Magician for Peewee's birthday party, but unfortunately all his magic misfires, and he loses Stodger in his special cabinet. Still searching for Stodger, Marvo makes himself disappear.

An errant cricket ball causes mayhem as the gang try to recover it.
