Shortfilm variation of the feature length scenario "The Love of Wenzel and Kirill". 20 year-old Wenzel breaks free from his shattered home, not knowing where to. He takes off with the first available ride by the side of the road, with 27 year-old russian Kirill in his van, heading back east from a european tour. With little reserve Wenzel confides his story to Kirill and in the course as easily gets invited to come along to Riga and to stay on at Kirill's place. "We have enough space." A phone call from back home fetches Wenzel back. The situation there has changed and he is needed. Yet, he promises to come visit later, next summer.

A village has to be destroyed for coal mining. Henning, a 15 years old boy, who wants to visit his grandfather one more time, realizes that nothing will be the way it used to be.

She and Mark perform at the Jewish Theatre in Berlin, until they become victims of an intrigue: Their colleague Judith, who has a crush on Mark, denounces them to the secret police.

The paths of many people cross before Christmas Eve. Each of them has their own special story to tell on this day... In exchange for a bottle of champagne to mark the shock, the sweet chocolate man switches to Ilse's divorced husband, who is drawn back into the bosom of the family at the same time every year.

The real blue is the color with which potter Benito Guerrero makes his fortune. His second wife Lene, with whom he also has a child, is superior to him in vitality and has a rough passion. He discovers that his child from his first marriage is being discriminated against and tormented by her - Thiel withdraws more and more into himself and becomes lonely. When Tobias is killed in an accident, he blames Lene, and disaster is inevitable...

Ralph grows up in pre-war Dresden as the eldest son of a principled and orderly streetcar conductor. With the rise to power of the Nazis, the war, the collapse and the hesitant new beginning, his firmly established middle-class world is also thrown off course. His father is one of the first to be called up to the front. His mother is left alone with the responsibility for Ralph and his younger brother Achim. In the air-raid shelter, during the nights of bombing and later in the daily struggle against misery and hunger, the mother quickly abandons all moral baggage and develops a pragmatic will to survive, for which she admires Ralph. At the same time, the boy is frightened by his mother's desperate claim to happiness because he perceives her affairs as a betrayal of his father, who has gradually faded into a symbol of a happy, carefree childhood.
