In 50 years anniversary of the first film about The Olsen Gang appeared in Danish cinemas. The film series and its beloved characters are described in this documentary with selected film clips and through a mix of old archival footage and new interviews. The Olsen Gang forever! is an entertaining tribute series' cinematic universe, which has long since become Danish people's property and part of common cultural heritage.

Egon escapes from the psychiatric ward, where he has been incarcerated since the gang's last coup. Keld and Benny pick him up, and when Egon, as always, is planning the big heist, the Olsen Gang is once again on the move.

It's the early 20s, just after World War I. In Sweden, restrictions on alcohol are harder than most people like and so, smuggling is abundant. In this particular little town, smuggling is ruled by one man, who is the king of smugglers. The smugglers who work for him don't get to keep much of the profit themselves, but if they don't work for him, they get in trouble, which his henchmen make sure. However, Albert Jansson arrives in town and starts taking up the competition with the smuggler king. Meanwhile, the police, together the customs office, try to catch the smugglers.

The Olsen Gang has traveled south after the success of their last coup, but there's still someone who hasn't given up catching them.

The Olsen Gang is involved in a weapon trade for half a billion. It's their final coup, and Valborg is finally allowed to participate.

As usual, Egon has an ingenious plan. And, as usual, it works just fine until one of the gang members makes some kind of funny error. This time, however, even Egon's life is in danger, for some international criminals try to get rid of him by throwing him into a container filled with acid.

Jeppe is a bedraggled day laborer whose great vice is brandy. And when he falls down drunk in the field, a passing baron is tempted to play a prank on Jeppe. The baron's lackeys carry the sleeping Jeppe up to the castle, dress him in the baron's finest bedclothes, and lay him in the baron's bed. When Jeppe wakes up, he thinks he is dead and has gone to heaven. But gradually, the baron's persistent lackeys manage to convince him that he is actually the baron himself. Jeppe soon takes advantage of this to take revenge on old enemies and indulge in old vices...

The sinister mastermind Bang-Johansen carries the suitcase. The Olsen Gang follows him to Paris, where they put their cunning and carefully organized plan into motion.

The Olsen Gang realizes that cash is obsolete with the current inflation rate, and plans a coup for property and bonds. They make a fake company and tries to buy Oslo's biggest shopping mall, Steen and Strøm.

A farce about cousins Aage and Viggo, whom Aage's girlfriend Else no longer wants living with them. The cousins then become embroiled in a rebellion against their workplace, Multi-Max, and against society in general, with chaotic consequences.
