Feng Xia (52), a Chinese immigrant, lives in Montreal with her husband and their children. The couple is in crisis as Feng Xia confronts a reality she's been repressing since her youth: she's a lesbian. Through a website, she meets Camille (30), a Quebecker with whom she develops a secret affair. Feng Xia faces a heartbreaking dilemma between her responsibility to her family and her passionate deliverance with Camille. She has no choice but to confront her fear and the powerful morality of her culture. In doing so, she will find sexual fulfillment, live out her lost childhood love, and face her destiny.

A Haitian woman hands over her young son to a thirty-something Quebec man before fleeing. With help from a Vietnamese former refugee, they try to solve the mystery.

Christmas approaches and the Lévesque family has once again gathered for their traditional celebration. But this time there is a mixture of emotions running through each person. The patriarch of the family suffers from a combination of Parkinson’s Disease and heart failure. His life reduced in every way, the end approaches and there are unhappy memories of his once violent and authoritarian past. Les Immortels, a group Paul formed with his friends Katia, Éric and Benoît, wins a contest organized by record company Cosak, and the grand prize is a contract to record their first CD. Although Giroux, Cosak’s owner, believes in the talent of Les Immortels, that’s not the case with his associate, Patrice Dubois, who makes things difficult for the young musicians.

The detective Maud Graham hides her sensibility behind the image of a strong and independant woman. She frequently offers her hospitality to a 16-year-old prostitute, Grégoire, a young man who became her friend. But when the teenager decides to invite a 12-year-old boy who is running away from home, Maud is near illegality. In addition, the detective has to deal with a serial killer who had already killed and mutilated many women. When she understands that the killer is very intelligent and organized, she elaborates a strategy to arrest him. There starts a dangerous game where the two teenagers that Graham is protecting will be implied. The killer is getting closer, revealing more and more of his madness.
