“The Antman” is a lovingly-made but sluggish monster-movie parody, done with German-speaking actors on a sparse soundstage standing in for 1950s Mexico. Promising concept is bolstered by colorful performances by Gotz Otto and Lars Rudolph, and the filmmakers have fun with pic’s look, right down to tacky lighting worthy of Roger Corman. But Marc Meyer’s script isn’t fast or funny enough to keep pace with energetic visuals. The first in a projected series of B-movie homages grouped as “Planet B,” the producers might want to call in Joe Dante to supervise the rest, as “Antman” seems unlikely to crawl very far beyond its native borders

The transport of a red Cadillac from Hamburg to San Remo poses serious problems for a car mechanic when his two passengers, whom he picked up at a carpooling agency, turn out to be rather shady characters. The vacation trip to sunny Italy turns into a wild chase as the police are constantly on the heels of the three.

Now he seems to realize how important Susi is to him...

Geierwally is a musical comedy and a parody of traditional movies with regional background, especially the classic story of Geierwally.

Professor Lichtwitz, a successful architect and notorious womanizer, secretly accesses his penthouse via his office. Employee Bodo, assuming Lichtwitz is away, invites dentist’s assistant Stella to the “vacant” penthouse for dinner. Unaware of his boss’s return, Bodo and others, including Lichtwitz’s wife, believe the penthouse is empty, triggering a hectic swirl of mistaken assumptions and visitors.
