Andrea is a labor consultant and his married life with Lucia is winding down. Once a week Andrea crosses the border of the Neapolitan nightlife to give life to Octavia Meraviglia: the most famous drag queen in Naples.

An upcoming film directed by Enrico Iannaccone. Valerio (Antonio Folletto) is a thirty year old man who leads a self-destructive life. The still beautiful Carla (Catherine Spaak) is an ex-magistrate, who begins to show the first signs and symptoms of Alzheimer's. Contrary to Valerio she has an overwhelming desire to live. These two tormented souls become friends and together they find the strength to confront the pains and secrets of their past. They are both related to a mysterious woman, Anneke (Veruschka von Lehndorff ). This is a journey of two people who are so different and yet so similar, sharing their most painful emotions. It will lead them to the discovery of a new way of loving.

Maria married an honest worker at a very young age, works as a part-time beautician and has three children. Her life is like many others in the working-class suburbs of Naples, where the daily struggle to make ends meet makes you get used to everything. When her husband is diagnosed with a terminal illness, Maria accepts the help of Gennaro, a rich owner of a car dealership. She lets him court her until she becomes his lover. One day he suggests that she become a business partner: he will transport a load of cocaine to Switzerland. Once she becomes a widow, her relationship with Gennaro will make her fall into a criminal vortex, which will finally allow her to experience new possibilities and fulfill old dreams. But the path chosen by Maria for her personal revenge will leave its inevitable victims in its wake, just like in a war that does not look anyone in the face.

Thomas, a struggling former magician, and Carlo, a Neapolitan submissive to his Northern wife and father-in-law, are two half-brothers who reunite after years in Naples following the death of their father, Vittorio, an inveterate gambler and womanizer. They discover they have a third brother, Ugo, who appears a bit dim-witted but is actually a genius. The inheritance Thomas and Carlo covet disappears due to their father's debts, and the three have a brilliant idea: to exploit Neapolitan superstition and credulity by becoming "ghostbusters." Just when their business seems to be unexpectedly successful, the spirit of their father, Vittorio, takes possession of Carlo's body. Thomas and Carlo become convinced that ghosts really do exist. Meanwhile, the ghosts captured by the trio break free and go to awaken the ghost of a witch who threatens to destroy Naples. With their father's help, the three brothers try to save the city.
