Seven friends decide to play a game at their dinner party, in which each member needs to read aloud all incoming text messages or put phone calls on speaker for all to hear. This causes many revelations to materialize.

"Dalan" is a film that tells about dead-end life situations that anyone can get into. In the film, several intertwined stories are built around the main plot line - the betrayal of a young wife to her despotic husband.

A young woman seeks escape from the suffocating atmosphere at home and the Azerbaijani capital Baku is portrayed as a wonderful, blue-grey intermediate zone where modernity and tradition collide. In the words of Allen Ginsberg: "None of us understand what we're doing, but we do beautiful things anyway."

Today was İbiş’s birthday. İbiş invited his friends to the celebration, especially his close friend Tima. At first, the guests’ toasts and warm camaraderie seem heartfelt. After Tima abruptly leaves, his intoxicated friends begin speaking ill of his wife, and their chat quickly escalates into an argument. One drunk guest even airs circulating rumors about Tima at the table. Shocked by what he hears, İbiş can hardly believe his ears. Tonight, İbiş faces a tough decision, both dangerous and difficult.

Kamil, who lost his father in childhood, lives alone. Kamil works in his own small photo studio, and is abandoned by his girlfriend after he falls ill. Kamil, who has lost hope in everything, meets Arzu, who is the beginning of a new life.
