Based on William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, set in Istanbul, the tragic story of three heroes chasing an unlikely dream, running towards their sad end in a Shakespearean manner.

Selman is a former boxer who once was interested in anthropology, an extraordinary imam who now works in a mosque. One day, while praying in the mosque, gunshots are echoed. One of the people inside collapses and dies. The police come to the scene and collect the first evidence and start the investigation process. He takes action after this event and decides to resolve the case through some people and circumstances he suspects. Every clue leads to an unexpected point and the events become increasingly mysterious.

Deniz and her friends, who have been apart for the summer, have much to tell each other. While adults are busy with their professional lives, Deniz and her friends are still confused about their university plans. Through the worries of their daily routines, they make plans for the future, yet the challenges of teenage years/adolescence are burdensome. Deniz desires a life that is different than the ideals of her friends. A song nobody has heard of, a hopeless love, solitude. A different world, but where exactly?

Yaşar, Apo, Kovboy Ali, Cevat, and Ertuğrul's only goal in life is to fill their stomachs and never be separated from their greatest passion, wine, even for a single day. These five people, who live day to day, know how to take advantage of the stormy political atmosphere of the time to achieve their goals. These five homeless individuals living on the streets find themselves facing a curfew on the morning of September 12, 1980. However, the only "home" they can go to is the streets themselves. As a result of a series of comedic misunderstandings, they find themselves imprisoned alongside political prisoners in the same jail.

Salih and Gürkan, two cousins from Ankara, are struggling musicians that are trying to make a living by performing at private events such as bachelorette parties. Nihat, a low profile event manager, finds a gig for the duo which leads them to encounter with unexpected guests in their "dressing room".

The action takes place in Aegean region. Melek is the most beautiful woman in the village. She is liked by more men. She get divorce with her husband and this annoys the rest of the villagers. They both want her and hate her. Melek is liked by the most rich man in the village Dönek Husam even though he is married. He wants only to sleep with her but she doesn't love him. He starts to pressure Melek more and more and by the end he hates her and even organize her murder. Melek's daughter's ex-fıancè Yaman has a sexual interest in Melek. He has just returned from the army and he needs sex with a mature and experienced woman. Yaman attacks Melek and tries to rape her but she hits him. Melek starts an avanture with Mert. Dönek Husam campaigning Melek for a witch and he and the other men decide they have to kill her. Melek tries to escape from the village but the men attacks her and kill her with stones.

An aggressive police officer tries to solve the mystery behind consecutive murders. While doing so, he must fight against his inner demons.
