Every year on the International Women’s Day telephone networks transfer millions of phone calls and SMS messages. The vast majority of phone calls are addressed to the most important women in lives of everyone - to our mothers. But what would it be if because of enormous number of calls telephone network breaks down? What would we do? Someone would wait until network is rebuilt and would congratulate his mom in the evening or even the next day. But others, like the heroes of our movie, would change their plans to congratulate their moms just today ... personally ... as a kid!..

Matveev, a former illegal GRU agent in the U.S., and his wife arrive at a Turkish ski resort posing as ordinary tourists. There, they are supposed to meet with one of the Russian sleeper agents. But the CIA sets up a provocation against Matveev.

A Russian man Sergey Matveev is sent on a business trip to New York to deliver an important package to a local businessman. As soon as he arrives in a hotel, he finds himself entrapped by the FBI. They know he used to be a GRU agent and threaten to imprison him if he would not reveal the secret information regarding "the mole". But Matveev escapes right from the hotel room and finds himself on the streets of an unknown city and enters New York city subway to hide away from the FBI. On his way home, he would have to face greedy federal agents and local criminal gangs.

In order to survive he takes the obvious course of action, which turns out to have possibly been unnecessary, and then he must deal with the guilt.

Liza is eager to get to know her young neighbor but cannot do so as their fathers are not on speaking terms. Her response is simple and direct. With the help of her loyal servant Nastya, she dresses up as a peasant girl and goes pick mushrooms in the nearby woods....
