In this short film, in search of a cinematic grammar more in tune with Creole imaginary and oral tradition, we follow Ondine's quest. She returns to La Réunion after an absence of four years, because her Pépé, a local zarboutan, is dying. Just as she has to say goodbye, Ondine has a strange encounter in a pond.

Thomas, a 15-year-old from Réunion, dreams of winning a breakdance contest and moving to mainland France. When his mother abruptly throws him and his sister Audrey out, they’re placed with an estranged father and forced to fend for themselves. The film follows the siblings as they confront abandonment and try to rebuild their lives, with dance as Thomas’s way to cope and push forward.

Saint-Denis, Reunion Island. Wilson, a teenager, lives in a working-class neighbourhood. One morning, his mother's dog, Payanké, runs away. Wilson sets off on his father's bike in search of the dog and discovers a reality he was not looking for.

In a village somewhere on Reunion Island, Nelson, 10, dreams of being a singer and has signed up for Star Kids. Her friend Mia, accompanied by her little brother Zizou, decides to find a coach for her to help her prepare for the competition. His choice fell on Pierre Leroy, singer coming from Paris on a singing tour in a hotel by the sea, where Nelson's mother works. But the current does not pass between Pierre, lonely and disillusioned, and Nelson, proud and obstinate. Will their one thing in common, the love of singing, be strong enough to bring them together and heal their wounds?
