Valentin Mirow

Stella, grows up in Berlin during the rule of the Nazi regime. She dreams of a career as a jazz singer, despite all the repressive measures she is forced to go into hiding with her parents in 1944, her life turns into a culpable tragedy.

Thomas is only 25 and already an alcoholic. He desperately needs help, but it's becoming increasingly difficult for his friends to deal with him - they're distancing themselves. Will it take a biblical catastrophe for him to change?

Jewish aesthete Cioma, 21, does not let anyone take away his joy of life, especially not the Nazis. In 1942, he has to find new ways to make his living in Berlin and escape deportation. In the process he discovers his talent for forgery: not only with passports, but also his own identity.
