A European arms dealer meets a liberated woman journalist, who is writing a story about the ridiculous things men do with the armaments during a NATO war games meeting.

An Italian journalist is arrested in Venezuela by the military, accused of being a revolutionary. The journalist, interviewed by the press, says he has no connection with the guerrilla organizations and is thrown into jail and subjected to psychological and physical violence.

Fernando returns home from his self chosen exile in Texas to get revenge for the death of his siblings. Instead he tries to start a revolution against the despotism of the landowners, but his relationship to his old friend Cipriano, who had turned in the meantime to a simple bandit, destroys his plans.
