A young woman accepts a job from her cousin to appraise the antiques in an ancient mansion he intends to sell. As her stay at the estate progresses, she is confronted with a dark secret linked to her family.

Directed by Edoardo Nervi and Lea & Vera Borniotto, in homage to the iconic director Edward D. Wood Jr. The three directors wanted to make a short film freely inspired by the 1959 film "Plan 9 from Outer Space", setting it in the difficult scenario of the Coronavirus pandemic ongoing. The genius of the short film lies in having made all the shooting and editing without ever leaving the house, in accordance with the restrictive Dpcm "Stay Home".

Innermind follows the story of an obsessed girl who has a distorted vision of her body and in order to reach the state of perfection to which she yearns to starve. Her twin sister suffers from her because of their strong bond and is ready for anything to save her. To do this she will have to take a journey into the girl's mind to get to the heart of the problem.
