Lee, a teenager from Manchester, goes to stay with his uncle Morgan on his remote farm in Wales. Lee struggles to build a relationship with his uncle and make friends with a local boy as Morgan struggles to hold on to his farm

The story is set in a small English coastal town, around the turn of the century. A young woman, thought by many in the village to be a witch, dies suddenly one day. Not long after she's buried, the villagers begin to see her walking around the area and especially along the shoreline. The village minister begins to look into her life and her death, hoping to lay the spirit to rest.

Play by Robert Holman, about two brothers at a rural comprehensive in Teeside. The older brother, Gordon, joins the army and is killed by the IRA in Northern Ireland. The younger blames his father for letting Gordon join the army.

At a Catholic boys' school, domineering disciplinarian Father Goddard rules over his pupils with an iron hand. When one of his teenage charges confesses to murder, the dogmatic but deeply repressed Goddard finds his faith challenged and his life spiralling dangerously out of control.
