The perpetual underdog, Wanja gets the unique chance to start a career as an architect and becomes an adult. Amongst all the new privileges she starts missing the friends from her youth.

Nico (33), German-Persian, emancipated and happy, is the most popular geriatric nurse for her patients. With her best friend Rosa (37), she enjoys the summer in Berlin. A xenophobic attack tears the self-confident NICO from its self-determined everyday life. Waking up in the hospital, she realizes that she doesn't seem to be a part of it after all.

Maren leads a regular life as a bus tour guide. When her brother turns up unexpectedly and joins her senior travel group, Maren can no longer avoid him. Torn between affection and fear of the family ties, she tries to find a way of dealing with the unwanted guest. A scandal breaks out on the bus in front of the tour group.
