Third in the River series, the Danube. The works of this trilogy feature stories about rivers linking three themes: rivers, sound, and human encounters.

Second in the River series. Eiko continues her travels, this time to Andalusia, Spain.

This is the first work in the "River" series, born from Sasaki's idea that "music was born on the banks of the river." The lives of people living on the banks of the river are depicted through "sounds" such as the bells and violins that ring through the town. The story is set in Cremona, a town on the banks of the Po River in northern Italy. A-san, a tuner, deepens her ties with the people living in the Po River basin while repairing broken violins.

This drama features Eiko (a homonym of A-ko, meaning literally "a girl"), played by Sachiyo Nakao, whose memories are elevated by poetic visuals and music into a "remembrance of sound," and culminate in a universal lyricism. The drama depicts Eiko, a piano tuner, growing up with music throughout the four seasons. Sachiyo Nakao, star of "Dream Island Girl" vividly plays the girl who grows up through encounters with sound and people, along with various memories from the past, such as her first encounter with the piano in her childhood and family misfortune. Nakao is also responsible for the piano music and illustrations that play throughout the drama.

A boy rescues a girl who has collapsed in a river, from their exchanges and memories a tale of loneliness and meaningful connection gradually unfolds.
