Two younger musicians are wondering where there pop star careers went after becoming fathers. So they decide to meet older musicians from the Swiss scene, from Hardy Hepp to Barry Window, from Düde Dürst to Valerie Claus, from Christine Lauterburg to Bruno Spoerri, incorporating musicians from other and earlier scenes.

Max and Chrige, a married couple of Swiss linguists, hike the Alps searching for rare words still uttered by the rural population. While on his way to a conference, the husband's plane disappears over the sea. Chrige is advised to give up hope of ever seeing him alive, but her heart tells her otherwise. Max comes ashore on a tropical island with another survivor, the plane's pilot. But where are they in reality?

She continues to practice yodeling, but cannot avoid facing the consequences of her actions and searching for a path between the present and the past. A remarkable, largely entertaining documentary feature film about a folk custom that is often ridiculed, especially by younger people.

While Olga is buried in her translation work, Christine goes out on the town with Olga’s cousin. He has made a lucrative business out of trading ceramics and zips around in a sleek Alfa Romeo.
