Dudukhana Tserodze

A film version of a well-known Georgian folk-tale. A young boy has to be immured into the walls of a fortress in order to stop it from crumbling to pieces.

A screen adaptation of the novel of the same name by the well-known Georgian writer Nodar Dumbadze. This story about love and loyalty, bravery and betrayal, began shortly before the Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Georgy Tumurashvili, a militia man, was affectionately called “Cucaracha”, by both the kids and the adults. He was a conscientious divisional inspector investigating various incidents, calling to order local hoodlums and settling family arguments. Once he helped out Inga who fell prey to Murtalo, a bandit and murderer. The young people fell in love with each other. But Murtalo decided to take revenge on Kukaracha…

The main character is Nodar Geradze, an organizer of song and dance ensembles and a collector of ancient Georgian music.

The trial of political prisoners is taking place in the Kutaisi prison. They face hanging or life imprisonment. In order to release them from prison, a party figure, nicknamed "Chagara" and a revolutionary woman, "Vardo", aka Nato Nakashidze-Volfisa, come to the city. She rents a house near the prison, supposedly to open a knitting workshop. Will they be able to escape?

The children have decided to discover the sunken city. The children are helped in their search by the gardener Ermile, who has a number of things and paintings in his house that confirm the existence of the sunken city, removed from the bottom of the sea.

Four sons in the Kirile family - Otar, Nodar, Make and the younger Guram. And all the brothers immediately ask permission to marry. The head of the institute's folk song branch turns to Guram for help in finding rare motives. Guram goes to his native village, where he wants to record songs performed by local elders. At the same time, he wants to marry Nelli, but his parents are against it: it seems to them that he is still too young to marry.

The film tells the life of a Georgian woman from 1920s to the present day. Love, marriage, Russian annexation and collectivization, world war, loss of children - Sidonia went through many sorrows and troubles on her way of life, but she always maintained spiritual courage and hope for the future.

Georgian village during the revolution of 1905. The struggle of the peasantry against the landlords. Tariel Golua's son, Levan, leads the rebellion. Tariel himself is in favor of a peaceful solution to the conflict, but when his son is brutally killed, and the houses of the rebels and their supporters are set on fire, Tariel is convinced that it is impossible to gain freedom without an armed struggle.

In the latter half of the 19th century, gold is discovered in the Black Hills, sacred land of the Lakota people. Gold diggers, profiteers and adventurers flock to the region.
