10-year-old Jamal loves his carefree life with his mum in rural Bangladesh, until the day his childhood friend and playmate is forced to become a child bride. Isolated and lost, Jamal finds the world a harsh reality when his hopes of getting new friends and attending school collide with his mother's past.

Bilkis Banu lost her husband Hasan on the night of 25th March 1971. She tries to forget him and concentrate on the urban guerrilla movements of Dhaka with Altaf Mahmud, Shahadat, Mrs Khan and many more. But when spies and the razakars inform them, most of their people get arrested and Bilkis has to run for her life, towards her village.

Tanvir (Zahid Hasan) is a gambler, but never wins and his family are run by his wife's income. His wife Rita (Moushumi) borrowed money from her relatives for his business purpose, but he loses everything in gambling. Tareq (Mosharraf Karim) is a rich man, but lonely, he has a cousin Babar who works for him. One day Tareq meets Tanvir while he is playing imagery cards alone in a park as he has no money. Tareq lends Tanvir money for gambling and watches him playing. Story further develops and by then Tanvir has borrowed thousands of money from Tareq. One day Tareq refuses to lend money to Tanvir though he gets better cards and about to win. Tanvir uses his wife as a guarantee to Tareq in order to borrow money.

After committing a double murder, Shumona flees from the police and seeks refuge at a stranger's apartment. Close on her tracks is legendary detective, Faruk Uddin who has never taken more than 72 hours to solve a case. Will he succeed this time? Or, is his ego about to be bruised?
