In a seemingly idyllic setting in the forest, surrounded by the stillness and tranquility of nature, an elderly woman, forages for mushrooms and berries. But all this is suddenly disrupted by a surprising encounter.

With help from a witch, two siblings journey to a medieval land to find the mystical Golden Drops that can cure their ailing mother back at home.

A second-grade class is assigned an essay titled “What I Want to Be When I Grow Up,” and pupils Anusiak, Konieczko, Maślana, and Czesio spend the evening pouring their dreams onto paper. The next morning, as they proudly carry their essays past fortune-teller Jowita’s parlor, she unexpectedly reveals each of their futures thirty years hence, and none of her visions match what they wrote.

Arche means the source that still beats and from it flows the world. Christians can call God by the name of Arche. He is also the one who was in the beginning, from him the world originated and he keeps this world alive. In the Middle Ages, the source was also sought in the philosopher's stone - it, too, was supposed to act as the golden rule and only a side effect of its action was to be transmutation - that is, turning lead into gold. In the film, Arche is a mysterious Source through which time and space can be influenced.
