When Judeska closes a deal for a branch in Asia, she and Ping Ping are swindled by mysterious businessman Lo Pei Chan. They travel to Bangkok and engage in a life-threatening burglary to recapture their restaurant and their friendship.

The film is about researcher Victor Dreissen. At his research institute, he discovers songs from Drenthe dating back to the beginning of the last century. These songs are special. They are about crimes that were committed and never solved. One song in particular captivates Victor Dreissen. He falls in love with the voice in the song and travels to Drenthe in search of its origins and background. He does not yet know that anyone who wants to sing or pursue these songs will never return.
