They are about crimes that were committed and never solved. One song in particular captivates Victor Dreissen. He falls in love with the voice in the song and travels to Drenthe in search of its origins and background. He does not yet know that anyone who wants to sing or pursue these songs will never return.

This movie is about a group of young people struggling with what 'true love' means. Main character is a boy who doesn't want to commit himself to one woman.
