Mirko suffers from nightmares as he struggles to cope with the recent loss of his father. His mother, Vesna, is finding it difficult to manage as a single parent, but increasingly seeks support and friendship from their kind neighbor, Jova. As Vesna and Jova grow closer, Mirko’s disapproval becomes more aggressive, and his lack of self-control strains his relationship with his mother. The situation shifts when Mirko’s childhood friend Marina arrives in the village for the summer holidays. The emotions that develop between them seem to fill the emptiness in Mirko’s heart. Through these new experiences, Mirko begins to see his mother with eyes full of understanding.

Alisa tries to confide in her friend Isidora, and her friend avoids it, suspecting what it’s about. By the end of the evening they find themselves confronting each other.
