Ciccio “O' Pazz” and Ciruzzo “Pesce bello”, are two powerful, blood-soaked Mafia characters. The legacy left to them is a violent, depraved narrative of murderous dominion over the weak. But still, enemies muscling their way into this realm of the wretched. These apparently harmless enemies are nevertheless viewed as potential usurpers by Ciccio and Ciruzzo, who, alienated by their imposed surroundings, develop a deep paranoia towards two animals: Severino, leader of the famous donkeys of Campu Perdu, and Piero, top boar around the Olive field area. The day of reckoning is near. There has to be a showdown. They have to get rid of the two animals. There's no way around it. A letter is delivered. A Pinter-like ultimatum with a crystal-clear demand: it's you or us. Men or animals. Coexistence is out of the question. Power has room for only one big chief. The final, inevitable apocalypse draws near.

Members of the Camorra on the run and actors seeking for authority meet after a shipwreck on an island-prison. The theatre turns into a free zone where everyone may not be able to recover their social role but for sure their humanity. Somebody can even get love back. Shakespeare and Eduardo De Filippo blend together in a picaresque comedy full of coup de théâtre.

Riccardo is a truck driver in his late fifties who illegally transports immigrants on his long journeys for a criminal organization. The organization entrusts him with Maisha, an African girl, for a few days, and she immediately establishes a good relationship with Riccardo's family, who has a ten-year-old daughter. When the organization demands that he return Maisha, he faces a difficult decision.

Anthony's family runs a small Italian restaurant in London. When his childhood friend, Dario, dies in a suspicious accident, Anthony inherits a vineyard in Sant'Angelo, the village his parents came from in Italy. Surprised by the large sum of money offered to him by a curious Italian "Master of Wine" for the land he just inherited, and considering the mysterious circumstances surrounding Dario's death, Anthony decides to drive down to Sant'Angelo. Anthony soon feels he's in the middle of something he doesn't understand and wants to leave, but... He gets tangled up in "Love's" web and suddenly finds himself the target of a crazy manhunt.

Danielle Russo, a young journalist on the editorial staff of the Paris literary magazine Nouvelle Revue Littéraire, is sent to Sicily in 2000, to the elegant resort town of Taormina. She is to do some research on the famous writer Truman Capote’s stay there in 1950. Yet, when the young woman meets a local journalist who offers to help her, she is drawn deeper and deeper into an intriguing labyrinth of shocking "truths". The local reporter is investigating events related to a mysterious crime that also made the headlines in 1950. An elite set of intellectuals, regulars in Taormina, are involved: André Gide – historic guest at the Hotel Timeo - and Truman Capote, Jack Dunphy, Peggy Guggenheim, Jean Cocteau, Jean Marais.
