A failed Syrian inventor named Ziad Jamal is suffering from poverty and lack of faith from others, and his failure to marry the girl he loves. He reads in a newspaper about an armed robbery by a gang, and decides to help the Police in catching them.

Ghawar has two jobs: he is a beach guard during the day and a sculptor at night. Ghawar lives with his friend Hosni and the two suffer that their wives travel constantly. A gang plans to steal a statue from the museum where Ghawar works and they send two pretty women to seduce him and Hosni.

While on the run from some people, Osama seeks refuge in a remote guesthouse run by Mansour, a miserly old man, and his wife Salma, a young and beautiful dancer. An illicit relationship develops between Osama and Salma, and she tempts him to kill her husband in order to seize his wealth and freely enjoy their love. However, Mansour’s daughter arrives to spend her school vacation, and when Osama sees her, his life changes completely.

It’s a romantic comedy dealing with social issues, shot in color and produced in 1975.

A shepherdess falls in love with a wealthy young medical graduate. His mother disapproves of the relationship, so she devises a plan to keep her away from him. The plan succeeds, and the shepherdess is forced to marry an old rich man who loved her, but he dies shortly after the marriage, leaving her a fortune that a relative of his steals from her through trickery. On the train, she meets a cabaret pimp who takes her with her and they work in the cabaret.

An anthology film that features three stories about the suffering of the people of the Syrian countryside in the time of feudalism; the first is about a poor peasant who falls victim to an agent of feudalism, the second is about a little girl, who has to get medicine for her feverish mother. As for the third story, it depicts the tools of feudalism in wresting the land from the peasants.

Unable to afford the dowry of his wealthy sweetheart, a young man is devastated when his beloved's father forces her to marry another, leaving him to convince his scientist brother to use his knowledge to shrink him. As he becomes pint-sized, he turns the life of his beloved's husband into hell.

A struggling young man abandons country life to work as a truck driver's assistant. His ambition drives him to be a driver himself, and lives a conflict that tears him apart between his love for a girl from his village, and his gratitude to his teacher who hopes to marry him to his daughter. We see the conflict that rages between truck drivers demanding wage increases on the one hand, and the employer on the other. The film depicts the harsh experiences that the hero goes through and learns through them the enormity of the individual battle in life.
