The art of drag represents an artistic transformation where individuals create characters by amplifying gendered traits, challenging established social norms. This practice, known for its spectacular performances, has evolved through periods of repression and acceptance. Through humor and self-mockery, drag disrupts conventions and is deeply rooted in the history of LGBT+ movements. This documentary traces the history of Drag in France and around the world, from William Dorsey Swann—a young emancipated slave considered the first drag queen—to RuPaul, Nicky Doll, and Paloma. Featuring contributions from historians, anthropologists, and sociologists specialized in drag, as well as testimonies from drag artists who are shaping or have shaped this history.

When young Baptiste meets Cookie Kunty, a young Parisian drag queen, he feels compelled to start a new photographic project.

A drag show in a Parisian bar. The public only has eyes for the queen of the evening, Cookie Kunty. But from the back of the theatre, Baptiste, her boyfriend, may be looking at her for the last time.

Paris 2020. We follow Le Filip, Shigo LaDurée and Cookie Kunty, 3 emblematic figures of the Parisian drag scene and discover their culture, their stories and their aspirations, in a world affected by a health crisis.

In their small village, seventeen-year-old Léo and his friends are crazy about makeup. Jules, Léo's older brother, doesn't share his sibling's passion, fearing he'll be the laughing stock among his gang of pals. The night of the village's "open theater" event, against Jules' advice, Léo walks on the stage dressed in drag.

Fred is a projectionist, like his father. As he has to project a film in Normandy, he convinces him to hit the road together. The road trip will be a journey through clash of generations, drag queens and family affairs.
