While shopping for sweets for his birthday, an altercation he witnesses shatters Ben's childhood innocence and raises questions.

1992. A group of multicultural refugees sit squeezed together in the back of a minibus. Plagued by cold, exhaustion and thoughts of a life left behind, a large cello case becomes the centre of what at first seems like a banal conflict.

Having fled Albania over 30 years ago, Agim and Erjon have led different lives. Their father's last wish brings them back. There they have to confront their past, their fragile relationship and a country that has changed as much as they have.
