After killing a cyclist in a car accident, a man becomes obsessed with understanding why he feels no remorse and begins a twisted psychological study to provoke guilt within himself.

A young woman, Diana, is challenged by her close friend, Jenny, to confront her issues and suggests she sees a hypnotist. After a less than satisfying initial session Diana is unsure whether to continue. After falling asleep on the couch she receives some bad news from her mother that will force her to deal with her issues once and for all.
