Jemal Kakhniadhvili

The hero of the film, a student of the Tbilisi Academy of Arts, is faced with a creative search and the choice of his own path in art. Daily contact with the villagers, access to their spiritual world pushes him to abandon the academy and return to his native village. The second hero of the film – a craftsman, a father of a large family, unlike the artist, is confident in himself, stands firmly on the ground and with his optimism returns spiritual balance to his friend, instills in him the belief that he has chosen the right profession and found his purpose.

Georgians are enthusiastically engaged in the construction of BAM, which was declared as the construction of the century. Together with them, young people from all parts of the Soviet Union work there. Hard work is accompanied by romance.
