A Russian film crew is coming to Varanasi to shoot an arthouse film. The whole atmosphere of the ancient city encourages us to think about the meaning of what is happening, about the essence of cinema, about values that are usually considered obvious and not discussed. Soon, the filming process begins to collapse, and the film begins to shoot itself. This movie is a parable about the crumbling of the world and correction, about love as the only force capable of healing the world.

An actress and theater dancer flies to India to find her mother, who once abandoned her and joined a certain sect. Soon she no longer understands whether what she sees is happening in India or whether it is the scenery inside her native theater. Masks, dolls, songs - does this happen in a small town square or on one of the venues in St. Petersburg?

The train rushes forward, and the past comes alive. A chance encounter and beloved music awaken forgotten feelings between Lesha and Sasha. However, in the general rhythm of the journey, the characters' inner paths imperceptibly diverge.

Sanya is a trucker who combines his main job with stealing cars. He and his wife Anya are expecting the birth of a child any day now. Suddenly, Sanya receives an urgent order: the hijacking of a "Gelendwagen" (or simply "Gelya"). And for the sake of a comfortable future for his family, he agrees, promising his wife to be in time for childbirth. But everything is not going according to plan, and the case turns into a conflict with a criminal gang of premium car thieves. Now Sanya faces a task of increased complexity: not only to deal with criminals, but also not to be late to the hospital.

After the divorce of his parents, 15-year-old teenager Valya Lapin is forced to move with his mother to the province, where everything disgusts him. But he knows that as soon as the school year ends, he will move to his father in Canada. Lapin decides to lie low, wait, just exist in anticipation of moving. The only thing he lets in from his new life is running. After all, it helps to escape from reality.

Law student Oleg, who lives with his mother and stepfather, learns that his father has been released from prison and wants to see him. Having met his dad, Oleg discovers that he is a passionate lover of gambling. So the young man plunges into the world of big poker, underground casinos and research laboratories. Having become part of this shadow reality, Oleg becomes infected with a gaming addiction.

Teenager Ruslan takes care of the dying old man Tikhon, the village sorcerer who has been healing people all his life. Tikhon dies, and the local priest refuses to conduct the funeral service. Ruslan decides to fix it himself.
