The film revolves around (My Friend) a young man in his thirties who works as a technician repairing televisions and satellite dishes. He lives in a modest neighborhood with his mother, who suffers from hearing loss, and seeks to travel to the United States by emotionally exploiting an American girl.

"Lotfi", a concierge of an apartment torn apart by the commitments of the unusual residents, with the neighborhood problems, their mood swings and endless demands.

Lawyer Nisrin tries to help the old man Ba Alall, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, after he is assaulted by a powerful businessman named Abdeljabbar, who is trying to take over his house without any legal rights. But Abdeljabbar, on the other hand, will not remain idly by as he tries to use his influence against her, which makes the conflict between them intensify.

In a dramatic setting, on a cold winter night, Tibariya decides to flee the marital home with her son Youssef after enduring great suffering. She finds work in the city of Tangier, and Youssef grows up feeling that he has no identity, which makes him suspect that he is an illegitimate child, which leads to tension in his relationship with his mother.

After her mother, Maria, passes away, Rosa, a young Spanish woman, discovers the secret of her biological roots in one of her mother's old letters. The letter recounts how Maria fell in love with Rosa's father, Choaib, who was one of the many young Moroccan soldiers (known as the Regulares) forced to fight alongside General Francisco Franco's troops in the Spanish Civil War. Rosa journeys to Morocco to meet her paternal family and discovers the reasons for her father's death.

When a group of people takes a white taxi to go to Casablanca, they get in an accident that changes the course of their trip as the taxi, along with its passengers, gets held hostage by a drug dealer.
