Amal, Omar, and their son Ahmad are a happy Arab family living in Germany. At the playground, they encounter a man named Franz. The situation gets out of hand when Franz insults and attacks Amal because of her headscarf. The case goes to court, but an incident during the hearing changes everything for the family.

Veterinarian Britta has recently separated from her boyfriend and is open to a new beginning, preferably in Brittany, where she spends the summer vacation with a befriend couple. After a rain shower, she unexpectedly stumbles upon her idyllic dream house, only to run over the fisherman Yves with her bike in her blissfulness. Unfortunately, Yves also wants to buy the house that is up for sale in an anonymous bidding process. He and his father can no longer make a living from fishing, and he wants to build up a second source of income in the form of holiday apartments. The empty neighboring house would be ideal for this. At first, Yves finds Britta more annoying than nice. But she gains ground with her fearless and positive nature. When Yves finds out who his opponent in the bidding process is, he tries to badmouth his beautiful home area in presence of the German doctor. Everything would be so much easier if it weren't for those darn feelings. House or love, that is the question now.

Urgent call from the clinic: Not for the first time, Dr. Felix Hoffmann the comfortable TV evening for use in the emergency room. He spontaneously takes over the night shift for a colleague. The ward doctor has no idea what consequences the next few hours will have for him and his girlfriend Celine. When a patient dies in the emergency room, Dr. Hoffmann does not believe in a natural death. The Ukrainian Misha Chenkov was part of a cleaning crew at the hospital and was therefore no stranger to him. In addition, he was recently released from the clinic in good health - but his patient file has disappeared. Dr. Hoffman tells his girlfriend Celine about the case. She immediately has a suspicion and wants to investigate the matter. So the two stumble into a criminal case and become more and more involved in the mafia-like machinations of the clinic management

Henni enthusiastically gets off the Munich-Bari intercity bus in sunny Apulia. Her new assignment takes the globetrotting nanny to a German expat family with two teenage children. Rosa Westphal, who runs a picturesque olive farm with her husband Benno, has high hopes for the governess with the impressive credentials. However, it seems strange to Henni that the self-confident straight-A student Luisa and the musically gifted but sensitive Julian need supervision at all - especially as the family's finances are clearly in a bad way. Henni also wonders about a secret visit to the doctor by her client, which she happens to observe.
