A director and screenwriter pen a script and, in the process, blur the line between fiction and reality.

He freed the slaves in 1848. He spoke out against the king and the government. He loved his wives equally. He was colorful, he was autocratic, he was Denmark's last governor-general of the West Indies, his name was Peter von Scholten. The film about him is a magnificent story of greatness, power, and stubbornness on the one hand, and of love, loyalty, and melancholy on the other. It is a colorful gallery of characters that depicts the times, the Dane in a foreign land—and the black man in relief to the white.

Between the discovery of the sunken ships in Roskilde Fjord and the installation of the finished ships in the Viking Museum, it was a meticulous puzzle. It took ingenuity, care and patience to preserve and recreate the ships in their old form.

Danish author Soya's acidly funny turn-of-the-century memoir novel turned into a robust black comedy. It cannot be said that the two actors Kurt Karlsen and Valdemar Hansen are particularly successful. The audience often has to ask them to stop, and financially things are not going well either, so they have to flee from their hotel bills. In a provincial town, Professor Andersen has just died, and when the two actors arrive in town at the same time, they are mistaken for the professor and his assistant and are given accommodation at one of the town's hotels as guests of honor. Then events take a turn for the worse. A bank director, a lawyer, and a contractor are very eager to see the late professor's invention continued, as the formula was lost when the professor died. Who will win in the end? The suspicious businessmen, the two actors, or two young people who love each other? And how many times will bank assistant Johansen lose his job?

Psychological drama about a doctor who, after taking over a practice in a small community, becomes entangled in some of the local intrigues. This has emotional consequences, including his attraction to a young schizophrenic girl and his wife leaving him.

In the future, Denmark has been made a nuclear waste dump and the Danish language is banned.

Based on Leif Panduro's 1958 satire classic. David, a senior high-school student, aims a swift kick at his principal's behind and is committed to a psychiatric ward from the perspective of which he takes a close look at his allegedly sane family. They, of course, are the real loonies. The psychiatrists are worse. Only lovely class-mate Lis is down-to-earth and trustworthy.

Based upon the novel "Hærværk" by Tom Kristensen about the self destructive person. The literary reviewer Ole Jastrau chooses to free himself from his well-ordered middle class life. He allow the seriously left-wing writer Steffensen move in with himself which soon causes disintegration of his home an marriage.

Hermann works at NATO headquarters in Brussels and is only home on weekends. He is quite a male chauvinist. That is why his wife Merete has not told him that she has pursued a career in the army and become a lieutenant. In Merete's regiment, Senior Sergeant Vasby suspects her of being a spy because of her "mysterious" conversations with NATO. This develops into an amusing spy hunt, and many people get involved. When Hermann is called up again, he "forgets" to tell his wife.
