A story that takes place during Advent, we'll meet again with your favorite pair angel Petronel and devil Urias. Their eternal wrangling causes the rare apple from the tree of the knowledge to roll on earth. And that God is really angry. Petronel with Urias find themselves in a small Czech town on the eve of the feast of St. Nicholas. And after a series of human and "divine" tests our heroes eventually find that the path to knowledge leads primarily through self discovery through the strength of friendship, love and forgiveness skills.

Christmas is approaching... By the river, in the winter fog, a woman huddles. She is a merchant from a nearby shop. She would give her right arm for a penny, so even the frost cannot dampen her joy at her Christmas catch. The carp will be fresh and, best of all, free! But the greedy merchant isn't satisfied. She plunges her net into the water again. "Let me go, good woman..." a gentle voice suddenly calls out from the river. The merchant can't believe her eyes—a magical mermaid has been caught in her nets!

When he learns that the Association pays free princes 5,000 gold coins to protect them from battles with dragons over capricious or proud princesses, the messenger is already gone. The desperate prince orders his servant to be vigilant and ensure that he does not fall in love and marry. He believes that the messenger will return. However, instead of the messenger, the beautiful princess Pavlínka arrives at the castle, whose nanny predicted that she would find happiness, love, and wealth there!

Somewhere in a fairy-tale land lies a small, not very wealthy, but charming little kingdom. It is also the Czech kingdom - Velký Titěrákov, as it is called there. This little country is ruled by King Valentine and his wise wife. Or is it the other way around? Either way, they would both like to see their only son and heir to the throne, Prince Hubert, finally marry and take over the reign. But Hubert just can't seem to choose a wealthy princess, as his father would like. So, it seems to the royal parents that the future young queen is nowhere in sight. Neither of them suspects that Hubert has long since found his queen, the queen of his heart—the beautiful but poor Božidara from the farm. However, the two lovers keep their love a secret. They know that the king would never bless the marriage of a prince to a goat herder. Unless a miracle happened...

Fairy tale based on J. Š. Kubín tells the story of the forest fairy Milena, who is punished by the Queen of the Fairies for loving King Silventus and giving birth to her son Václav. Milena becomes a green light, and little Václav is first taken in by his foster parents, then into the king's service, unaware that the king himself is his father.
