Moscow 1950s, June. City residents, having loaded all their scrub from mattresses to pots, into commuter trains, go to dachas and villages. Among them is the family of the boy Denis Korablev. Denis's parents don't really want to continue the tradition of renting a house for three summer months in the countryside, but Denis's grandmother is convinced that fresh country air is extremely useful for all of them. Life in the village is in full swing. Denis's dad rides a bike, Denis's mom walks around the village in a white sundress, Denis's grandmother makes strawberry jam, which is a lot this year. Denis has fun in the village - he joins a local gang of boys, makes friends with a girl Lena, goes to the boat station and plays a lot of mischief. One day, the worst thing for every boy happens to Denis - he falls in love.

The life of 16-year-old Mot is thrown into disarray when his father leaves the family. In protest, Mot brings home a homeless woman and declares that he will live with her.

The film was shot in the glorious traditions of Soviet cinema. He captivates with sincerity, lyricism, good humor, charming characters and a funny plot in a good way.

The year is 2022. Russian ferryman Konstantinich lives in a village in Zaporizhzhia. After the collapse of the USSR, the old bridge across the Azov estuary was destroyed and dismantled for scrap metal, and Konstantinich began ferrying people. He connects the two banks and takes responsibility for everything that happens in his native land.

Stas is a miner, not the most hardworking, but very charming. By chance, he ends up buried in a mine along with eco-activist Lena. Then he begins to hear a voice. Voice of the Earth. In her speeches, she speaks for the environment, and threatens that she will drown everyone if they don't listen to her. The problem is that only Stas hears her. And now he will have to very quickly convince the whole world that a) he is not a schizophrenic and b) he urgently needs to stop polluting the Earth, otherwise it will wash everyone away from its face.

Preserving the text of the play, the amazing dialogues, the brilliant characters, we have transposed the action into today’s Russian provinces and changed only one thing: the age of the heroes. In Anton Chekhov’s play the heroines are aged around 25; now they are 55. What does that do? The heroes’ retorts, stylistically inappropriate from today’s twenty-year-olds, are absolutely organic for the older generation, the ‘Soviet’ intelligentsia. The problems of Chekhov’s classical work concerning the search for a meaning in life, the loss of ideals, the fear before death without having achieved anything in the world, the desire to be useful to others – all these things are also a typical attribute of the Soviet intelligentsia.
